This 18v milwaukee pump is so handy, but why add a bunch of electronics?

I would like to restrict my antifreeze flow rate down to 2 gallons a minute to fill truck radiators . Will a restricted inlet washer accomplish this without hurting the pump . Or possibly a variable drain back on the outlet side of the pump back to the inlet reservoir ? I want to keep a slow fill rate to eliminate air pockets throughout the engine’s cooling system .

Hey, that's what I was talking about! My broken pump that I wasted good dollars on purchasing was burnt out in that same quadrant!

And atleast one other spot but you know…

Why not just use a 12v diaphragm pump. Basically what you just made here but cheaper.

Looks like moisture might have caused some shorting. Crusty white residue can be a sign of that. Sometimes residues can be left from production, but I only see it in the corner where resistor looks mc-fried

You could have put it back in the case only cost you some scrap wire, also should have left the power switch in the loop just cut the positive wire and put the switch in the loop

AVE: "A switch! That's all you need! A switch and some battery protection!"
