I took a chance on a sight-unseen 80kW generator. It's got a Mitsubishi diesel, a Generac 208Vac alternator and a nasty surprise.

You two make me laugh so hard, I love it! Miss the dew claw!
I always check every part including filters for anything that could cause a problem. Iโve manufactured parts and know that all anyone cares about is if they got there rate for the day. A newbie will skip anything they can to keep there job and keep up with production rates. Iโve always been the most thorough motherfucker and believe me Iโve paid for it.
DewClaw's a true friend and the real MVP.
"DewClaw, would you cup my nuts ?"
{DewClaw cups nuts out of frame}
"WITHOUT QUESTION EVEN !"
When you pulled out the FRAM I fuckin lost it.
So 2+ years later, what is this beast doing now?
I come for knowledge and understanding I leave with a new saying

Cross threading is just free thread locker
We had a 1MW generator for the adit fans, when hydro was run to the site and it finally shut down it had over 15,000hours on it, was only started once. On-line filter changes, constant rpm, constant load, it's the cold starts that wear equipment, standby stuff has a hard life.
