you wanna avoid the curl? use a glass plate for a print bed, and spray it down with some isopropyl (70%-90%) and use PLA uncle bumblefuck, its better and less stanky…(oh and its cheaper, wallet wise)
Lovely, I have an M200, it took 4 Polacks on a chair in a round room to assemble it but turned out damn fine. I went with this machine for the dedicated software, they all warn ya " opensource!" but they never tell ya the Opensource stuff is junk, Zortrax tested all their filaments and feed the gurgle into the gobble right. However the Zort is damn near as pricey as the snort these days, primadonna!!
Just found your channel recently and ran into this video today. Those look like 8mm rods, possibly the LMU8 bearings (maybe LMU8UU). They do need to be lubricated from time to time, and the rods do wear out.. Luckily the 8mm rods are relatively cheap to replace. If it's starting to bind, it's possible one of your bearings is going out, and when they do, they will wreck the rod as well by leaving a long gouge on them. I put Drylin bearings on one of my printers and that seems to work well, but you NEED to put those on a new rod or else the grooves left from the bearings will act like sandpaper to the drylin. As for the smell.. Try PLA instead of ABS. And the crud at the extruder… It's a sign your extruder is pushing, but filament not moving fast enough.. Check to make sure nozzle isn't clogged or temp isn't too low or printing speed isn't too fast that the nozzle can't keep up with temp.
@ave do you think it’s possible to make us a parts list to put together home made 3D printer?? Possible? Or I guess it’d require. Many of beer money but maybe if you can get enough to pitch in to buy the parts in bulk??? If you happen to have any access to parts manufacturers? Idk just spitballing a thought your way.. thank you @ave greatly appreciate the videos
Fuhmunda the stank did whaft.. as I contemplated the greasing of my favorite shaft. My best of best hobby, a chance to keep perfecting my craft. Alas the eyes did water, my shafting much less than the slaughter I had in betwixt my ears, a shame it would be some years to get it in gears and I lost the end of my mad hatter. Okay lost it at the end there, I do not care, for my beverage needs a splatter
I like how youtube highlights the "most replayed" moment of the video is the circumcision limerick. Anyways carry on.
LOL You're pretty funny, man. I subscribed 😉
Do a review on it please
The Zortrax is definitely in the 'bigger the blob the better the job' category.
