I wanted to make a CNC coolant proof camera lens. I tried to make an air bearing and failed, but a clean roller bearing works great!

The new guy suggested rainex on the lathe window. I told him I doubt it, but I don't know everything so let's try it. He grabbed a can from his truck, we cleaned the window with denatured alcohol, let it dry, and did several applications of rainex. It didn't make a damn bit of difference. I had assumed the coolant being basically dilute glycol would behave like soap and would wet to just about any surface.
I have just saw a video on a helicopter camera( maybe take a look on how (in principle ) that works ๐ค
Been watching this guy for a couple weeks now, beginning to think heโs a true genius.
What if you ceramic coated the glass?
Balls are pretty blue here, bud.
Did this never go anywhere? Is there an update yet? It's only been like a year or whatever, but I NEED closure … when you get the chance.
An addendum to your comments early on. Most are not skilled in critical thinking. 90% of ideas are garbage. Most do not think about the thinking. Ya gotta look at it and discern how it can turn on it's head or have the opposite result. Also how it could potentially critically fail causing a big ol mess.
CO2 cartridge drive. Just a thought.
One guy says โwhy make it when you can just buy one?โ The other guy says โwhy buy it when you can just make one?โ ๐คฃ
What about a powerful fan to create a cone of pressure around the camera lens?
lmfao
Every porn camera operator: shut up and take my money.
Dude thats fucking sick
AvE hairy chest confirmed
…….but, you could just use rain x
A new era of bukkake filming is ahead of us.
You're making too much work out of a simple design.
Make a Tesla turbine with 2 pieces of glass and use air to spin them. SOLVED
