I run through a very useful 2d Adaptive toolpath with a roughing end mill.

If you need more length out of an endmill you can neck it down. by grinding part of the shank diameter about 10 – 15 thou smaller than the flute diameter. Just don’t grind to high on the shank that you have nothing left to hold onto.
I'm happy that you decided to look into learning some CAM software. The leaning curves might be steep but if you keep at it you can make amazing parts and your workflow and effeciency go way up.
I'll never gibe up my manual machines…. Programming makes smoke come out of my ears 🍺
“Smoothing” has nothing to do with finish. It’s purpose is to cut corners and remove points. The tolerance is how far you are prepared to go away from the programmed path. Turning it on will remove a bunch of gcode lines. In some roughing adaptive toolpath, it can cut the code by half!
Maybe you should try combining all the videos together in a single video, I recommend using MKVToolnix for muxing because it doesn't require you to re-render the whole thing.
Beautiful footage uncle B… And I'm not talking about that pocket snake. Spanks for posting.
Oof thanks for the content bro but it really messes up my feed when you release ten videos at a time
Спасибо.
Good info. Thanks.
I'm 1st! Best wishes from Maine US&A
