Uggg. Because Fusion is cloud based, it messes up my post processor and tool library at random intervals. Yay cloud!

    Pre next generation controller.

Windows 10, meet 7 compatibility mode… please god. I want SOME(!) of the cool features 10 offers, but not enough to actually 'upgrade'. 10 is and has been a global damn nightmare since implementation, and nobody in the field disagrees. it did succeed in it's efforts, granted, but an ARM desktop machine is a joke.

Isn’t there a thing where you can’t keep those files in the download folder? Like it won’t work properly?

Use the Gargler to find out how to setup your cloud library for your post processors. There are also a few videos on editing your post processors so you can modify them then, give them a special name and save them to your cloud library and never lose them.

When you had the personal posts selected and then clicked "open folder", that opened the directory you wanted. You don't have to remember how to get there with a command, just hit "open folder" in that settings menu and it's right there. Copy your post there and it won't go away. I've been using Fusion for over a year and my settings never go away even though I let it do every update.

It's a feature reminding you that fusion updated. In my case if i see the endmill plunging in the beginning of the program, i know that G28 safe retracts is on..
Gouge on part -> fusion updated..

Try typing %appdata% in Windows explorer. It'll take you right there

Loving that video series ! It is perfect for showing us only the dots that we just need to connect. Does not waste our time with a complete picture, love it.

You can change Fusion to work locally and turn off the online connection, this prevents most updates and preserves you config. Will also save everything locally if you use ‘save as’, although it can only be used offline for a limited time before it tells you to work online to check with the licence server. Hope this helps!

If you want to access that hidden appdata folder, type it in the address bar and it will open. It's a pain in the cant but it's what ya gotta do

Your troubles will end when you enable cloud posts and tool libraries. You can also easily edit the posts and change the flags from true to false etc. You can even rename the post to Uncle Bumblefucks town pump post if you want. Save that guy to your cloud post library which you can make default and Bumblefucks your uncle.

    Nashing of teeth over.

Recently started using Fusion for 3D printing and yeah, the cloud stuff is driving me bonkers. I have good internet and a monster workstation, but it lags during operations while its phoning home. And file conversions have to be done on their servers and takes forever, where my machine would rip through it in seconds. And wtf is up with the file tree for saves they use, ugh.
