I used a PLC to control the air cylinder for a Guillotine. A brief side-trip to the uncanny valley ensues. http://www.Patreon.com/AvE

This video has visual aids as opposed to 2023 where we all were exposed to airborne aids

The compressed air up the whahoo of a buddy is a story I’ve heard many times before. Urban legend or not it’s still important to respect the power of air compression.

hey late to the party as usual, those usb cable programmers are probably very replaceable with either a usb to serial adapter (maybe 5 bucks from scamazon) or a ch341a programmer also very cheap, the pinout if its rj-11 will just be transmit, receive and ground so its pretty straight forward

Try one of the "programmable relay" PLC's like the Crouzet Millenium or Omron Zen. They can still be programmed with ladder logic, but they also have a nifty drag and drop Graphical Programming language which is much easier to use and more intuitive, and still requires no programming expertise. And, they are cheap as hell.

I sometimes take the little womans failed toys and rework them into a functioning item again, but this guy, he is God like in his work! I am humbled.

You wanna see where compressed air is dangerous? Blow out the hoses for a concrete line pump. Only way to do it efficiently, quickly and cost effectively is with an air compressor. If the guy controlling the valves on the air coupler fucks up, gets distracted at the wrong time or is inexperienced…can seriously injure the guy holding the whip end of the concrete hose. I've personally been lucky enough to have never been hurt by it…but I've come damn awful close.. My dad on the other hand, not so lucky. Got hit in the eye by the bell end of the hose (luckily didn't lose his eye). That was due to distraction. Compressed air is equally as dangerous as a hydraulic system. Both can kill or seriously injure.

I'm half horrified, half bemused and half disturbed. That thing is scaredier than a teenage girl climbing out of a well. Nicely done, you sick bastard.
