Ego brand tools with 56V lithium battery. A niche tool brand in search of a market. This is EGO axial turbine 560. *New Stuff here first* http://www.Patreon.com/AvE
home depot cashiers get fired if they challenge people. if you're really stealing, the thief could get violent, cashier gets hurt. home depot spent millions on some very nice cameras. if you steal, they take your picture and send it to the local law enforcement. or they wait until you've done it enough times for a felony charge, then they send it.
this way, no one tries to be a hero. loss prevention and police can do their jobs, cashiers don't get hurt.
The design is very intriguing as it resembles an EDF found in RC airplanes. Wonder what the KV and max thrust the fan is capable of producing. If one could mount the fan from the leaf blower in an airplane and compare it to a proper EDF unit of similar dimensions and KV in terms of thrust.
It doesn't "phase change" no matter what they say. It goes from hard to soft when it gets hot. Apparently that does absorb a lot of heat to even out things…
I got this mostly because my wife didn't want gas and she needs to use it sometimes when I'm on the road. I got the 650 I believe and that one is powerful enough I rarely need the turbo. It also has a larger battery. I've watched your videos for a long time so the new battery was an issue for me but this is really just a yard tool battery I plan on getting the weed Wacker from ego too since she doesn't like our gas one either. I do feel better now that you did not completely dump on this thing. Hopefully I won't regret the purchase.
The battery packaging isnt great.. its significantly larger than my 4.0AH 40V makita battery which is 144Wh. This massive battery is only 140? Its like twice the size of my 4.0Ah makita battery. Also, the 40v makita blower has the option of a 8.0Ah which is a beastly 288Wh. 42min of runtime on high, 28 min on turbo mode.
I don't think you are going to be able to return that under warranty.

just fuck battery powered tools, at least for anything that takes more than 10 minutes of work. gas powered is the only effective way.
It might be good for blowing out the kitchen😂😂
I'll stick with my Echo Backpack Blower
Sewer pipe blower
Don't you hate all this plastic junk that they're making now no more metal or aluminum just plastic😂😂
How is it boat anchoring u to have a specific battery for your blower? I don't get that argument
I bought this and it's more powerful than my last blower without using the turbo button and quieter and my last one was gas
Don't know if I agree with standardizing batts, there are unspoken negs to doing so
We have one and we like iy
