Sharing a mechanic tip for your manly-man memory palace. It's also the cure for stupid! DON'T DO THIS ON GASOLINE. GO BOOM. Or at least have the camera rolling when you do. Air venturis are not safe either, they build up static electricity. GO BOOM.

I always have my shop vac handy on pristine mountain tops. Next to all my free beer. 💩🤠
This works great on keeping the oil in your engine if you have to swap out an oil pan drain nut with a crapped out, crushed, and crusty o-ring seal.
I've been doing this since back in the mid 90's.
You have her stick your donkey cock vacuum hose on top the oil fill and tell the Mrs. to hold it there & not let go.
Break torque, start the suck, spin 'er out, slap the new one in, torque it to finish the job, and then tell the Mrs. to stop suckin'.
(Comment intentionally left open-ended for BJ jokes.. you may fire when ready, gentlemen.)
Works on semi truck cooling systems too. Who wants do drain all that coolant and then put it back in? Not me.
On top of a mountain ave found a shop vac fucking amazing.
Ive needed this soo many times 🤦🏼♂️
Standard vacuums are spark ignition sources. Sucking up vapor or liquid fuel will cause an explosive hazard. Don't do this with fuel. It's cool solution for water and oils.
I move it! 💪🏼
I never knew canadians said aluminium like we do (UK) and not the US way.
No volatile liquids!
This is an awesome trick. Just be careful to clean around the plug your removing because it will suck dirt into your tank.
Seen this once before at a jiffy lube. Tech in the hole had the plug cross threaded a they had er full up with new oil before they realized it
this videos keep coming in my recommended and im not complaining aside from the fact why havent i been subbed to this gem of a channel
Feerk yeah
Yup. Done it on Telehandlers with 40 gallons of hydro in the tank. Have to watch it though on the big -32 suction line going to the pump however. The hole is so large the fluid climbs up the tank and begins to fill the vacuum. When it trips the overflow shutoff in the vacuum you end up with a big mess. I wasnt involved in that particular project or it wouldnt have happened as I would have plugged the hole as you did while I got situated with the new o-ring. But I did watch it happen from afar.
I did suggest it as an option to a grey beard at work recently on a pump leak, he told me last time he did that, the hydro tank collapsed in on itself, even though it was steel. It was on a JLG boom lift is what he told me. Had to order in a new tank and made it a much longer repair.
