Errata: Strain in austenitic 304 causes martensite formation NOT ferrite. Both M & F are magnetic. It seams that martensite formation is not depended wholly on carbon (304 has very little) but on strain, either from thermal or mechanical. THANKS ANDREW!
We see what's inside the Yeti. It's got interesting internal features like copper plating and a weird ferrite bead. We also go full geek on what makes stainless 304 non-magnetic and corrosion resistant.

Dihydrogen monoxide paint thinner can be deadly in small doses if you breathe it in, be careful!
Also Hydrogen hydroxide dissolves so many toxic compounds and can harbor harmful pathogens at the same time! Handle with extreme caution!
It takes multi-million dollar facilities staffed by trained professionals to make this stuff safe again. Don't take it for granted and don't use more than necessary.

From what I remember working at target about 6 years ago (around the time of this videos release) was that if you don't see a security sticker/tag or the item isnt in a box that we placed on the floor but that item is over I think it was $25, that means that item has a security tag built into the product from the manufacture that is tied to its UPC with the RFID security systems at the doors, they get reprogramed when you or the clerk scans the product at checkout that's why sometimes at supermarkets you hear the doors going apesh*t, sometimes the reprograming doesn't work and the security sets off the doors anyway.. this is happening less and less with time because the the tech is getting cheaper and better. that's murica and its logistics for you, we started by tagging the trains you can bet were going to tag the products too, now you just wait till these tag and digital currency relate to how they can tax ya.

Is that button at the bottom like a catcher in a vacuum tube?

The disk might be a getter.. Inductively heated, it consumes oxygen. (It is the silver coating inside a vacuum tube.)

This would let you consume remaining oxygen in the vacuum.

I just wanted to point out I think you misspoke when you were talking about austenitic stainless steel's phase change when cold worked. The phase change is not from austenite to ferrite it is austenite to martensite. Martensite is basically just elongated austenite. This phase change would also be magnetic.
