A partial solar eclipse is barely worth bothering with. Watching a total eclipse from within the path of totality is what you're after. You'll never forget it. Texas – April 8th, 2024 will do the trick. Over 4 minutes of totality.

Dick in vice more memorable than eclipse. Owww.

Ideally you really want shade 14 for looking at the sun. But obviously you didn't go blind so hey!

(that recommendation is probably just ass-covering, anyway, or for if you're looking at it for extended periods)

    How? A: Take a nap

I felt the same about all this… I only got to see a partial because someone at the bar happened to have a welding glass. I then go online and people are saying "omg omg omg omg omg omg" wtf? it's not an asteroid headed for earth.

a few days later I see a video of lightning hitting a tree outside someones house. splits the bark off the lower half, then a few seconds later the top of the tree comes crashing down. now that is something I can see someone repeating omg.

I was lucky enough to be in TOTALITY….it's worth it.. Even if being a smartass about is cooler on YouTube..

Well yeah man, you've got to see her straight up the middle. All you got was peek at a little side boob.

  11. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars M H says:

not the same if you were not in the totality zone. 99% coverage is still 10,000 times brighter than 100%. I would not have believed it if I did not see it myself.

  12. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Steven Allen says:

You only saw a partial, the total eclipse was only viewable down south. THAT is the "magical" experience.

  13. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Landon Powell says:

If you're outside of the path of totality then you're effectively getting a ruined eclipse-orgasm. Shit looks the same as normal during a shitty partial eclipse.

  14. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars StapleCactus says:

Unless you were in the path of totality, I can completely understand everyone's "it was underwhelming" comments.

  15. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars calvingreene90 says:

Being in the area of totality is an entirely different critter.

  16. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Admiral Bob says:

Pft no totality will make it pretty meh.

  17. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Mason Veil says:

Yet the eclipse got more views than all your video's combined.
