It's perfect for assembling ikea furniture
what do you think that 6-pin thing in the middle of the board is, dude?
Looks perfect for driving screws and small things like that. I actually got a cheap 12v for that exact purpose because electric screwdrivers tend to be so anemic.
And doesn't need a proprietary battery charger!
Where is the IKEA shirt Merch?
LMFAO 8===D~
Got one like it my wife got me. It just wont die. Takes a fall from a ladder like a champ. I just use it for changing guitar strings now a days.
Is there some secret button to unlock it or anything else because I cant get it to work at all.
really enjoyed this review, informative and funny
It's not NiCd because they NEED their products to sell in Europe, which forbade NiCd to be bundled in tools and torches and forced the transition to NiMh and Li-Ion almost 20 years ago. You can still buy NiCd cells if you need them for a special purpose, they just can't be sold as part of a product.
That thing is adorable…and it doesn't even have the built in theft deterrence of my Makita stuff.
Works perfectly for ikea furniture assembly. You get what you pay for and the most important thing is that thing get the job done β
As a kid I would've taken the whole house apart with this. I did pretty good with screwdrivers and wrenches, but my parents were still lucky cordless drills were still beyond the reach of the average man.
Thatβs why Europe knows them as electric screwdrivers and not electric drillsβ¦ at least afaik
I'm a Swede, and I would not use that thing for all smor in Smaland.
If you know Swedish, you will get it.
I owned the bigger 14.4V for technician work, it would cut out sometimes but it was good enough for someone to steal at a jobsite.
I can imagine having a couple of those with fixad bit torx 20 25 and 30 maybe for taking things apart. Just switch machine π
