    This can be kept on by getting an electric thermostat and attaching it to the desk. Set it to however warm you want your desk and it's done. Unplug it at the end of the day of put it on a timer. EZ

    My 2 dollar solution was a 200 watts incandescent bulb with "optional" dimmer , fixed beneath the table where my cats love to sleep . Win win win situation you get light , heat , and save electricity
