I’d love to refurbish that thing. I used to work for Spotwelding Company in San Francisco. George Kissel, owner, one of the best skeet shooters in SF. Was the best fixture maker I’d ever seen. Besides welding things (mostly aluminum) inbetween jobs I would refurbish spotwelding machines the owners got at auctions for a few hundred dollars, not bad for 10 and 15 ton machines! no safety gear! Ahh, the good all days, no stinking masks, eyewear, or gloves. I loved doing that work.
