I know this video is 7 years old and you probably won't see this but what the hell does BOLTER stand for. Watched so many videos and I haven't heard the acronym worded out yet. these fuckin chargers they usually dont leave a shit stain when they die iv tried sooo many times to get em workin again but theyre not really worth it, eventually when i get myself learned up electricity ill certainly b fixin stuff like this, it takes a little longer when ur teaching urself on top of life lol

commutator grooved. more surface area for commutation in tighter space. Thats my uneducated guess!
the reason for that audible 4khz driving frequency is because of the motor it is driving, the motor are made up of laminated silicon iron sheets, driving it at higher frequency then you start dumping the power to the iron itself because of eddy current, you can overcome this by making a ferrite cored motor by the time you drop it just pray it doesn't break, ferrites are so damn fragile
