In this teardown we'll have a look at a low cost pneumatic die grinder. The air vane motor inside is the powerplant that is in all rotary pneumatic tools.
We also make a purpose built tachometer data logger incorporating the Rigol 1054 oscilloscope. We'll have a look at a few easy ways to improve air tool performance and maximize the capability of small workshop air compressors.

Errata: The lower o-ring on the valve is HNBR. Thanks to xnutral for his technical expertise! From the parker website: HYDROGENATED NITRILE (HNBR, HSN) Hydrogenated nitrile was developed as an air-resistant variant of nitrile rubber. In HNBR, the carbon-carbon double bonds in the main polymer chain are saturated with hydrogen atoms in a process called “hydrogenation” that improves the material’s thermal stability and oxidation resistance.

and here we are 8 years later in 2023 and one of these lil choochers is now 25 american pesos.
that redknecked hall effect sensors sexy af yo.
Sorry, guys, but he's right about Dremel. And stick with thous, microns is so hoity-toity. Of course I have brain stalls. All geniuses have them.
How do you remove the bearing to get into the round part with the blades ?
Saying micron makes you sound like an uppity paper pusher
I too suffer from the cognitive stall! comes handy in a fight! 😂
LMMFAO @ don;t forget where to send that hate mail
thousands…only commies use microns
Well ide take word from Microsoft… he looked down and considered it small and soft… Micron man… measure everything in blonde ones.. fackem!!!
The brain stalls happen, don't know if they are normal but mine have degraded into at least 3 times a day completely locking up.
Actually have to walk off and return with a fresh start.
6-thou, 200 microns (um), I prefer 0.2 mm, or better yet, 20% of a mm, or 1/5th. 🤣
I miss the real king of random
To the micron gent, no. Just no.
Another way to fix that trigger for proper valve actuation is to put an upward bend on it. Sort of like when you were 10 years old: your feet slipped off your bike pedals and you crashed down on the bike frame, starting with your manly hydraulics. It's permanent, too.
