Air Canada Dash-8 Turboprop lost a wheel during takeoff.
*errata* wheels are likely aluminum/magnesium allow. Dash-8 has no fuel dump, they have to burn off fuel.

Most eye scorchingly things I've ever witnessed are: magnesium fires, welding arcs, Tesla's combustifications and Sol. In that order.
Viewing orbs got burnified just from a glance at a magnesium bike which was converted to run on very angry pixies.
Such contrivance in it's natural state known as conflagration form; doused by a fire department water hose.
Don't think they had the foamy schmoo they use now, or it was just the third shift.
Love all of your aviation stuff man !
Thank you !

White sparks could be titanium rather than magnesium
At 7.13 there is no brake stack as it’s a nose wheel. No breaky on nose wheelie 🙈
For those wondering, airplane brakes work a lot like motorcycle clutches as opposed to traditional car brakes.
If they were already in the air, why didn't they just head to their destination, and emergency land there? One wheel isnt an issue until you wanna land.
Amazing. An engineering lesson and a history lesson, both factually-backed and equally as interesting.
Can confirm everything is forrest up here. If its not forest its corn or canola.
Practical Eginnering Sent me, love both of you channels.
