Did they fix it?
That grey stuff is 8802 sealant. And yes it has an MSN
Pretty sure the $8000 per hour does not include fuel.
great speech btw
always super impressed of how much you know of basicly any random thing that falls in your hand. the engineering, tinkering and machining community on youtube is simply phenomenal โค (and the humour is the icing on the cake)
Something can be skookum, meaning "strong" or "monstrously significant". When used in reference to another person, e.g., "he's skookum", it conveys connotations of reliability or a monstrous nature, as well as strength, size or hard-working.
E xtra T raining for ALL pilots in one airline company is still cheaper than 1 S moking H ole
simple math; XT100<SH1
I think the fault was the blade kept getting ripped off
26 pins on that finely crafted thingamatic. An alphabet for all 26 pins A-Z
FYI… Temple Grandin, Author of Visual Thinking. In Chapter 6 of her book, ' Visualizing Risk to Prevent Disaster,' she talks about the Boeing 737 failure, and how as you discussed the angle of attack sensor was the cause of the crash. I watched your video before reading the chapter in her book and boy clearly it made what she was saying makes sense. I thoroughly enjoy your episodes, and your insight into how things work, fail, and the beauty of a well-designed part, or tool. ๐

Kinda reminded me of the guy that did the news back in 1978, channel 7 WABC NY

Ohhhhh, wait a minute, wait a minute
He also did a live stream on the raditio sooooo,
Maybe it is /was hear now the news?
Can someone set me straight?
Are the aoa sensors the only mechanism to determine stall detection, or is it also incorporated into other avionics, pitot tubes, TATโs etc.
I'm 100% sure that a person who provided you this unit got fired.
Is it some form of digital dead reckoning that provides redundancy if this sensor starts giving erroneous data? Could that be?
(Idk, I'm not an aerospace engineer familiar with this make/models systems.)
