Dear lord it's the stove from Left Hand of Darkness!
Can I adapt this to power my fridge?
It’s Feb 2023 and I just got an ad for a hospital boasting advanced heart repair in front of this.
There's no convection in space as there's no air to convect to, so you need huge radiator heat sinks there. The ISS I think has something like four metric tons of radiators to eject all the heat.
I wonder if the generator would benefit from thermal compounds on either side of fit. In addition to the membrane on the sink, that is.
When I get into the backcountry, I am looking to escape from some technology. The engineering here is very interesting, but it's complicated and a lot can go wrong. Without a stove two days or more from the car could be inconvenient. It's far from "minimalist;. This thing is cute, but some of us would rather leave the "pixies" and "electrocity" at home.
Wet dead tree carcass will kill that. Double whammy.
Looks like i an I AM GRUT
Ah I’ve not even watched this yet, but have wondered at this £250 marvel ……gona enjoy this one 🥳😊
You can make a little biolite stove out of a food tin and a fosters can. A little drilling and fabrifuckling with the hammer and you've got a homemade jet engine.

It’s pretty amazing you can keep up with the Dewclaw whispering in your ear without cutting away. It is. Amazing
