This battery boost pack from Costco is surprisingly well built, too bad it sucks. 1. LED goes into epilepsy mode 2. push button gives no feedback 3. You reset and disconnect the cables after 5 seconds of cranking

I have one of these, and it requires there to be some charge in the battery (probably so it can detect attempts to reverse charge). Trying to use it as a 12V source with a dummy load (like you're trying to do) doesn't work.
I suspect the blinking light feature is there for emergency signalling purposes. Kinda nice to have with no real downside
If AvE was a super hero he would be Sylar from heroes.
They used a jellybean LED control chip–same as used in all those cheepo bike lights and craptastic hand lights/flashlights/torches. They all have several levels of brightness and the SOS (Same Old Shit) ReMorse Code.
My usb c chargers are the opposite: the original cable has lasted me 2 years, where before I'd go through 2 Anker(so not complete garbage) micro USB cables every 3 months.
oh god.. Type S… not really good for anything but a compact car or riding mower.. blew mine skyhigh with my 04 f150 and the battery wasnt even fully discharged on the truck.. was cheaper just to send my CAT boosterbox in and get the batteries replaced then keep buying flaming boxes
Got one of these about a 2 years ago, It's been holding up pretty good starting all kinds of junk, 350 Chevy, Ford V6 3.0L and, a ford 462 the beeper is kinda annoying and the reset is absolute garbage
I normally read/write english, but I'm starting to pick up some canada by viewing these. thanks AvE
That isnt meant to start group 31 batteries. Its meant for about group 24 and smaller. And the battery cannot be deeply discharged or it wont work either. Noco boost packs and chargers are the way to go!
Watt hours are printed on batteries for flying and the TSA does not require multiplication skills, 100 WH limit per battery. The switch is probably inset to reduce the odds of accidentally pressing it as it bounces around the back seat.
I use it to recharge my phone and i[ad when hiking
Yes, your right I always get that button because I think it’s not working.
