Plenty of torque, but throws the chain. A. LOT.

I'm surprised at this, given I have the kissing cousin 40V that on the outside looks identical but has additional chunks of metal inside the bar retention mechanism, and the 60V was the more expensive saw when I got mine.
Mine is bloody smoking ๐
I think Dewalt actually "saw" this video. They fixed the problems you mentioned, this thing rips. The fact they used some anemic bar clamp is beyond me.
So no hot suppers, just trips to mcds with her; aye aye.
yes ! i have been missing that washer and bolt for about two years and using this saw. now the sprocket is shot. need to replace and get the bolt and washer lol
i think just what im looking for ! same saw and the sprocket finally took a crap wore out. think iv been missing a washer or something to keep the chain on better now i need to replace the sprocket and fix it

So mine is brand new . First time using it . Stops and now wont run . ๐ค๐ค๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ. Anyone know why???
You sound like Adam West's batman when you have a cold. Cheers.
nothing wrong with the tensioner. It hold up just fine. The main problems with the chainsaw are the seal on the oil fill cap leaking, and the ratcheting bar lockdown nut vibrating loose as you are cutting. Also, you should get some fine wire and twist it around the hoses on the oiling system so that they don't loosen and start leaking internally. I have been using this, and the 12 inch version both since they first came out.
I reckon all the crap-features are 'cause they think guys lost the tools and want one that is tool free…in this case tool-built-in which, as always means useless
Cheers from Canada North where we sure as hell know our chainsaws
