great stuff, i just bought one from hbm, it works from 10 -200 so i only need one tw for everything, plus it is so small you can carry it anywhere, and quite cheap
Big brands took advantage and still take advantage by paying the Chinese cheaply and charging dearly. Everything to cause a false impression that they are products well made by. But the truth is that the Chinese industry has accumulated knowledge and continues to sell. With any written mark or even "white label". And it's the same product. 😂😂😂
So simple and yet some tools cost you an arm and leg. I have a SnapOn digital torque wrench that I paid over $500 for it and yet it consistently failed because of bad design.
I do not know how you gathered your knowledge but I have learned a lot from you. And I love your Canadian English. Americans, Brits and Australians might need a dictionary….:).
Love your demonstration. As a side note, wheat stone bridges are one of the reasons I am glad I became a mechanical engineer instead of an electrical engineer!
Way easier to reset yourself to account for manufacturing tolerance and whatnot. Else you’d have to know the zeroes to a stupid scale, way easier to just quickly measure zero on startup

You had it in "PEAK" mode. It was displaying max torque applied, as it should. You need it in "TRACE" mode for what you are trying to show.
That is fuckin' amazing. You, sir, are my favourite learning resource! Tip o' the cap to ya!
So how accurate are these digital torque wrench adapters from eBay? Or are they just junk?
So cool!
Would one of these be useful in determining the accuracy of a torque wrench?
