In need of help I’ve got this saw but the motor is on its way out, any idea how to separate the motor from the gearbox so I can get a replacement?
How about kobalt 24v tools
Looks exactly like my bosch 18v bandsaw. I wonder if it has the same problem. There is too much of pitch change between the wheels and the cutting area. Makes blade life far worse than I'd like
I miss The Dewclaw! It would be awesome if you setup a AvE with Dewclaw playlist. You two at work just brings me to tears 😂🤣
Makita 40V batteries are also incredible in their build quality.
Commenting again as I watch, before I see if you answer this or mention it, great system, I know. . With the blade tensioner, could you make the shoulders a little taller so the cam pushes further if'n ya needed a lil more outta er
Those are essential when cutting conduit.
This is a Chervon bandsaw that they make for Hilti, Kobalt, Menards, Bosch, Panasonic…shall I go on? The lates LXT Makita is pretty swanky. Unfortunately they won’t bother to make an XGT one.
Dude's like if Ricky from trailer park boys was a genius
How to make left-handed people hate you:
@AvE @projectfarm does a great video comparison on many big brands and Milwaukee mostly comes out on top
Like old belt sander belts, snappy snap snap
Regarding your comment on using the choice of tools that rental places use as a barometer for quality- I'd say that depends entirely on the business model of each rental business. If their model is based on low rental costs and weighted heavily towards making the majority of their revenue from servicing and repairing their tools, then it's obviously not in their best interest to rent out robust and reliable tools.
Use these every damn day on the job. Best cordless bandsaw there is for thin metals. Except the blades snap more often than the bigger ones. But I don't buy the blades
Interesting, that tool shares a fair amount of DNA with the Bosch BSH180B.
Fantastic for cutting scaffold out of the way (on the sly) without getting a hot work permit.
Hilti stuff is good.
