TL;DW skip to 18:45 for failed part
Bored of lame tool reviews? Here's a long term lookee-loo at a high quality pump that would last forever if it wasn't engineered to fail!
I'll show you how to check motor windings with a megger high voltage tester. Then we'll tear into the guts of the pump to discover a not so subtle omission that reduces the life of the pump considerably.
Like the vids? Want to shed the bad luck of all those Thai Baht in your Ladyboy tip fund? Help me make a vid or three!

Watching this piece of history after watching the latest videos shows how much AVE has changed. The bumblefuck showing his true colors!! As an experienced bumblefuck myself, I would have to state that the more you learn in life, the more you have to have fun. Otherwise you go insane. Kinda like AVE. Loved the welcome to Hoth, first time? Vid where you lovingly stated. It never effing ends!!! Haha… Hello Tractor.. my old friend.. keep up the good fight ol Canadian neighbor/Brother! Not sure if when I die, delete my internet history means the AVE series videos, don't worry about the porn sites. Some things a fella needs to take to his grave… Keep your….you know….in…you know!!!

"OL" on a meter is not "overload." It means Open Line or Open Link; in other words, "no circuit."

7 years late but Princess Auto's policy is that as long as you have a receipt of purchase we can do our best to make it right such as giving a new pump or fixing it if there is an extreme amount of wear/its been a really long time since purchase. The best-case scenario for you is we refund the difference as customer satisfaction is guaranteed(to an extent…)! When I worked there I tried my best to make sure people got the best out of the company as they were the lifeblood and the source of my pay. Hope I bump into you some time if you pop into AB.

CD and DVD drives for PC's
Back in the day when you were "Burning CD's and DVD" I had drives that would last for ages, then newer ones that would fail on the draw/tray.
Opening up the new versions I found plastic parts with an odd colour on the cogs that spin to move the tray in and out, and the older ones it was all the same colour and thickness as the other moving parts.
So it seemes like the newer versions were being built to fail after a specific number of open/close cycles. Which they were. However I still have and use the original DVD Burner ive had for about 20 years.

Whirlpool cabrio platinum washer runs a seal on a hardened steel shaft and I only get about eight years out of the top bearing under the seal before it has to be repaired, but I feel like they know because they also sell a kit with the bearings , seal, and new shaft. So no matter what you are going to buy a washer or rebuild it, so you are always a customer
