I like the battery indicator on the battery, easy to get a full battery from the truck, if it's on the tool you need to put it in the tool to find out how big a charge 😉
You've got way more experience than I do AvE, but what if you took a punch to the motor casement to carefullingly decrease the I.D. of the hole? Real gentle like tappy tap tap.

I’m a turd herder – have had this tool for 5 years – burnt it up 4 times, Milwaukee rebuilt it free every time – even paid shipping. For 100 bucks (came in a kit with a little 12v drill and 2 batteries too), I love it.
