If you’re referring to the torque test channel .. of course they lie. They’ve got to be taking tools apart and altering them I swear. They take money from tool sponsors or something. Fudging data for results. I’m not sure. Something doesn’t add up with them. They get different results than anyone else. It’s odd. Smells funny. All I know.
Snapon stop making that tool in 2005 sorry1999
If I'm using it every fricking day ima obviously buy the gun I have to pay for once.
If its a tool you use on a weekly/daily basis, no question that snap on is worth it. Ive been a Mehanic for over 15 years and have seen it all. The price of snap-on is not only shown in their quality and precision but also the lifetime warranty. Plus the fact that they come check on you and servic/fix the tools for you.
The main thing I have an issue with in this video is that he's comparing a Snap-on 1/2" Impact made in 1982 – 1992, to a 2017 Harbor Freight Model. The snap-on is 25 to 35 years older and has been used for all those years, the fact it even puts up a fight speaks for itself.
They wont service or fix this model impact anymore and havent done so for years, this is stone and chisel technology compared to today.
This man has got me laughing tho, Its like comparing a 1980's corvette to a 2023 Mustang and being surprised the mustang is faster and has more power…
Long time viewer. Love your videos
Please please please can you look at the Ryobi 18v HP Cordless Brushlessb 1/2" Impact Wrench – RIWH18X
I notice it’s made by Technotronic , interesting
This video killed Real Tool Reviews. Lol
Oh AvE you’re just enough nerd mixed with cool shop dude. Love watching ya ramble through this stuff. I learn somethin, and daggunnit i’m gonna be doing it with a smile 😂
Being a retired heavy equipment mechanic, I can attest to the fact that I will never ever buy another snatch off air wrench. When new they work great but within a year of occasional use they go south with no power at all.
did he end up buying the new gun?
I love your presentation and have watched almost all of your videos!! But this is the first time I have disagreed with you.. I have had my earthquake for over 5 years in a shop and it has never given me any problems. Trust me, it surprised the shit out of me too.. Also you should give them both proper air pressure from different supplies..
It's not just the different length in hose. Hook up the input to the tee at the center so that the output split left and right. Then use the same length of hose going to both guns. You'll find the air flow distribution much better.
On the 3/4 impact did you ever get the max torck
Try and find a sears at all! lmao

In 1978 I purchased a Chicago pneumatic 1/2" impact, and used it several hrs 5 6 days a week. The only repairs to it was the replacement of the trigger"broken off after dropping about 12 ft. I never see any reviews about these and I think it deserves a mention for life and power. I really don't remember what I paid for it but I'm sure it was less than snap on etc.
