Used to have a '43 Willys, you could get it up to about 77 MPH with two fully grown children in the seats. At least that's what the Officer said; speedometer pegged out at 60 MPH, maybe that cruller chaser was talking in metric? I believe it only had 60 hp; low range was fook'n unbelievable with the gears in that thing. Had four gear shifters in it: One reverse H, an "overdrive" lever, and two differential levers for your 4×4 needs, plus external el' Manuel locking hubs.
I don't believe the under-seat gas tank, glass cover on the fuel filter assembly were OSHA approved, neither were the hand powered steering and hand powered windshield wiper for the passenger; though it had a pneumatic powered wiper for the driver side which was pretty wild.
Typing out a dissertation of a 80 year old vehicle, I think I found my people.. Do I get a Cub Scout's badge?
Now I want a cruller… Life right? I'm told it's terminal.
Holy shit I never thought I'd enjoy watching some dude drive a fucking old Jeep! It was such a it was such a blast! I was laughing the whole time great fucking video!!
