#sharts All is good, everybody is safe.

She ain't looking too goo he's coming around the mountain, we're whopping the water to the back 40. Here i don't have much hope for it. I got the diesel. Jenny double ended in case they cut the power, the well pump's, just barely keeping up somebody.

Think of the ducks, ducky and daisy got to get the chickens too and the rabbits, i sure, hope my garden hoses hold out. It's gon na be okay, gon na be okay. Nobody panic! You get people driving around upside down, remember to keep the rubber side down. Don't let anybody get you in a panic, you'll know what i'm coaching myself through this keep telling the wife just playing tenaciously to my false bravado.

You are in the presence of one of the most competent men on the planet. She tells me i'm missing an inn. All right boys, i'm bugging out. Well that was an exciting day.

We have way more chickens than this yeah yeah, oh, oh, my gosh, they're fluffy, poor fluffy getting stepped all over okay. This guy looks like he's gon na make a run for it. This guy's not a named, i don't know why we grabbed him, but we did someone else did it. I didn't argue there had a boy fluffy.

What's that one, just temporarily till we go back to the farm late night.

So very cute, “night, night duckies”
Hope you all are hanging in there. Let us neighbors to the south know if you need anything.

🤞🤞🤞🤞 got all my fingers and toes crossed for you and yours!!! When I was a teenager, I remember running next door and helping free/drive about 80 to 100 cows out of an uncle's barn out to an outer pole barn while smoke rolled out of the walls with 7000 bales up over head getting going, tough to quickly safely drive big scared animals that don't understand… long day wearing many hats… you got your ducks in a row and no premature fried chicken… I wish you all the best with your home, but you and your family are safe I trust! Good luck, keep up the good spirits and your famous sick gallows humor!

I hope everything works out as best as it can for you and your family. I realize that is a pretty empty thing to say, but unless I send you instructions on how to build a fleet of robot fireman and a time machine its the best I can do via YouTube comment.

Went thru this same thing in N. CA a year ago. Actual fire got to 5 miles from us over the next ridge…. everything south of that to Santa Cruz got toasty and a few spots near Davenport made it to the ocean and hopped over Hwy 1. PG&E cut our power, everybody left (except me and the generators and hoses) and basically, life really sucked in the middle of the sucky 'rona suck.

Nothing like evacuating due to a wildfire to figure out what really matters, and what doesn't.
I was run off for 5 days this year. The fire missed by a mile. Literally.

If you have an ATV up there, you can drag a bedspring or any bundle of metal trash to flatten and rip the grass and throw dirt all over the sprayed dry grass, where it will stick and be an affront to the fire thus too wild. In desperation, you could even use the ATV (or dirtbike) to throw up rooster tails as a sort of "fuck yoooo" to mother nature's inflammatory remarks. (yes, I'm commenting with the full understanding that others have probably already said this, and/or better things.)

I nearly had a joke about choking on smoke down here in Seattle but I’ve had friends nearly lose their homes in the central cascades $hit$ scary. Good luck.

Former Wildland firefighter here. Cut fire lines around your place and remember it's not the radiant heat that 🔥 it's the hot embers
