That powder looks like it is easy to replace with some colour toner, as that is also magnetic in a lot of cases, and as a bonus you get it in 3 colours, so you can crack test 3 times and tell if a crack is from the first, second or third try to fix it.
tig welding it , easy peezy …… but for 35.00 for a new part , just go buy the new part , if it fails again , weld up the first one and make it stronger than original

Hmm, maybe if somebody had a Haas milling machine, they could make a new part from billet. Nah, that would never happen ;p
