How do you drill super hard tool steel? With ridiculously expensive tungsten carbide twist drills.
As an added bonus and a requirement for my defense team; I kludge method for determining drill RPM from audio of the actual drilling.

Old worn out files make great knife blanks too.
What brand is the drill bit? Ive been trying to drill a 5/32 hole through a file. So far I’ve tried those blue spyder brand bits and two norseman brand cobalt bits, one a step bit and the other a normal twist bit. So far only used tap magic with my Drill Press RPM as low as possible i think its around 970 RPM
Why?
I will keep my stick wherever i want 😉
So if you use a higher rpm does it help as long as you keep the buy lubricated.
Ballsy feedrate
WTF, keep your stick on the ice? Having a bad day?lol Where are all the col·lo·qui·al·isms
I need to mill some of that for a special cutting file tool gizmo, good demonstration.
My dog hated this one
That looked awesome
"They are pricey, because they are worth it."
Word! Some people should tattoo that into the inside of their eyelid
SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEECH
I've been going through all of your old videos and I can't help but be thankful for all of the freely given knowledge, the humor that come along with it and the wholesomeness that brings it all together. I would love to apprentice for you because I don't think you would let a fool mess about for too long without giving them a lesson with the old Midas touch. You can only work smarter and not harder if you can get the smarts and use them. Anyway thanks for another great vijeo!
and keep' both hands on your stick.'
Get the fack out of my way .. I drill holes all day long with nothing more than my dick ,, ya whimps you tool's should be ashmaed of you looypop mustered heads. sheeesh the world will be telling me next a air fly bug will kill me .
Don’t understand one bit, let alone a carbide bit. 17Hz is a dull rumble, like the mating call of a blue whale. 17kHz is a screech, but then what is the calculation?
