"Tractors aint good for fuck all but pullin'" As someone who has taken care of a fair bit of land for 15 plus years with just a kubota with a backhoe my grandfather cobberfuckled onto it, albeit very well, I can't stop thinking about how true that is.
This is fast becoming my favourite channel and i am slowly learning the language used herein its so refreshing to hear you swear on this app because most shit a brick if they let slip a sweary word. Love and hate it when you tear open new tools, i get the reason you do it but my tight arse Scottish self shouts at the screen when you take it to bits. I have introduced “treat especial” to my daily vocab and i full intend too add more of your more “ fruitier” words to my box!!!! Happy New year from Fife Scotland
Excuse me for being a dumb ass, but if welding is kinda a bad idea, why not just drill a hole and bolt it on? Or would that not work? I know the hole is made for a chain.
You have all the other attachments, why not get a 3-pt hitch mounted drawbar? It's cheap, you drive normal, you can see/work the 3-pt better from the driver's seat, and you can mount anything to them (pin, ball, clevis, pintle, receiver, etc.). Plus, like now your tow hitch is dependent on your loader working. If the loader needs a new ram or hoses, you could detach it from the tractor, and still rely on the 3-pt to get work done. Putting a ball on a forklift fork is making the best of something not designed to pull, but by your own admission your tractor was designed to pull.
They make "weld on" hooks. Designed for the heat, for a little better holding hook.👍
I love the tools that are older than safety, they work amazingly
That hole isn't where forks fail. F*&ktards are far more dangerously..
What if you drilled a hole in the tube and put some kind of clevis pin through the hook there and welded all around it.
