Do over, dummy.
We here at Cockford Ollie machine and Marine make things nice because we do things twice at the Tile Center come by and said ain't no good at all Proud here. shy here. got holes in the thing. shy there.
proud there. You might be able to get away with it with huge tiles he said, but with the tiny little tiles it's gonna look like a home gamer job and terrible. and he ain't touching it unless we fix it. So that's why I'm the Joe and he's the pro.
We gotta cut all this out and we're gonna redo it with Schluter Kerdi-board He said expensive versus crap but way way better. Nobody uses this except cheap Bullfellas now because it's so horrible to deal with. How did he know this is the good stuff? What you can't get from the lumber yard store? You got to go to the supplier who am I going to get to install this and he said not a problem partner. let's watch YouTube you'll figure it out What an age we live in.
Well Japanese Beauty Still chooching and a fair bit of a walk Grandpa Gary Just about threw this out the window I Counted sending the Fasteners into a low earth orbit I Guess he can't read kanji two and thinks the twice I grant you doing things twice. Pain right in the cunning lingles. That's better than the alternative. Waiting 20, 30, 40 years before you remodel.
Listen, looking at an eyesore. Just gotta call Tile Guys On his way I'm gonna have to go incognito. Don't want anybody. Uh well, being a superhero is tough.
These tights chief ah only or some sort of tool which you can get right in there taking her down to Bear Studs Square one you. It's humbling because you see where you up. this gotta be on 16s studs. better adhesion, pan square to the world right? We got our furred out plus minus a blonde one according to the four footer and look at this.
You get what you pay for I Thought I'd buy some studs and there were some beautiful Hemlock Clear gorgeous Hemlock there you can't even get a screw and it's so hard now. we just got to measure once, cut twice and it'll still be too short this. Teutonic Board: Check this out. Metric: Oh yeah, why would you dick around with this stuff? The diamond Blade the grinder, the dust, the noise when you got this stuff.
The dry fit first time, tight, second time. All right. We got the special Fasteners But for the back here of the niche, this Kerdi fix got a beautiful eucalyptus top note with a hint of toasted coconut. Couple tips after you dry fit when you're pulling down Mark your studs, especially where there's little jut outs and so forth.
Don't go too deep with these. get them pre-assembled you put them together and then when you go to put them in, push them in by hand, do a bunch every 12 inches, push them far enough to feel the stud so that you know they're in properly. You should go straight through like that, it ain't gonna hold. Do yourself a favor, put some cardboard down and some plywood if you got this so you don't get a ladder shaped hole in your base. It is just plastic after all. we're all done beautiful, all set for the tile. Setter To come in, take this fabric thinset over all of the joints Fasteners and put this over top. That's over my pay grade, but this stuff highly recommend.
Another junk cabbage. This is the for Dolly.
Recommended that board all the time in my bathroom price ups. Almost no one wanted it though, saving a buck in all the wrong spots but you can't tell customers…….
Just flip a dull framing blade in backward in your saw & heave ho on the rock board, also cuts metal roofing & so whisper quiet ears only bleed for a half mile or less, check you codes before getting that fancy blond boards, is verboten here in Hawaii last I checked but supposedly on the maybe list once the bribes clear
Now say Kerdi Berd without sounding like a certain muppet chef…
Thanks dad
Just do a pilot hole for the screws. Probably easier to just whack a nail in if youre doin that though.
Nice. I have a project coming up where Kerdi or the other variances may come in handy.
Schluter also sells the fabric in rolls. A couple years ago they were having supply chain issues with sourcing the glue that bonds the fabric to the board. So I was left with the option to wall paper the fabric with thinset. Great products all around.
Forget the shys and prouds, how was he supposed to work with expired cement board!?
Does Mrs Ave, the straightest 8 the v 12 dozen of bestest handful of thumbs, go bowling 🎳 above her average on league night 🙏🏻🙊🎅🏻😉📺 I love sandbaggers in my team satins🎫
Guessing my exes marked their studs. Lots of taxing. I I thought with my big head not my small my engorged thinker, I’d never go to her stinker. Dues dew and does claw me 😎🎅🏻🛠🇺🇸🇨🇦🔧🙊
I thought kerdi board was a canadianism, but nope.
Oh that hi revvin bz buzz angle lady pleaser on late nite tv 📺 c’mon girl, ya want bacon 🥓 pancakes and waffles now. It’s not dawn nor your name?
I always just cut cement board with a knife like drywall. I may go through a blade every 4 cuts, but it's sure better than the grinder dust.
I installed a bunch of that in the showers on a deployment at Al udeid air base Qatar back in 2016. We remodeled the whole bathroom/showers building, had an opening ceremony and next day it was closed again because someone tried to flush half a roll of paper towels down the toilet…
puts a hole in the brand new really cheap kerdi board
I measure my wood in metric so the numbers are bigger. I dunno how the ladies feel but it makes me happier
