I used to live next to the national forest and survived several fires, almost yearly.
Because the little woman didn't want to see "a bunch of sprinklers and junk all over the roof", I had to come up with something to keep me from climbing up there for every spark on the breeze.
A Rainbyrd and hose secured to a pole (four times for overlapping patterns) and laying out of sight kept her happy. I could have them all working in fifteen minutes. A larger piece of pipe in the ground and spring brackets (painted to match the facia).
And if you have to bug out, they keep on working.
