Should you like to drop Franklin Electric or PA a note about their shitty warranty:

Follow up to the engineered to fail pump teardown. "How can a company that guarantees it's products for life survive by making throw away products?" This is how. They don't honor warranties. Oh, sure, they'll make you go to the store (Princess Auto), call the manufacturer, go back to the store, beg, quote store policy, &c; but ultimately, the customer is left holding the bag. "No sale final until you are satisfied!". Bollocks. Though, it was a rousing round of pass the buck to behold!

Hey at least it wasn’t your 80 pound Filipino coworker taking your call in Manila. He did take a page out of their book by repeating how a receipt is needed after it’s already been established.
Modern “lifetime” warranties are a lie. We had a thirty year old sofa that came with an original owner lifetime warranty. The company honored it when a support spring failed. Meanwhile, the “lifetime” warranty of a sprayer pump stated that it was only 6 years…the average life expectancy of the product. The manufacturer shouldn’t have the right to redefine what “lifetime” means.
Old vid but what the heck
Logitech is amazing with there warrenties
had a mouse break on me, straight thru to costomer service, they dident even confirm if it was broken just trusted me on my word and dident make me send the old one back
now I have a brand new one and I replaced the old ones left click and thats a loaner mouse now
I’m fucking shocked that you got an actual person to answer the call.
Lifetime is the Lifetime of The product line not the customers life
The having to produce a 'receipt' is one of the most annoying and infuriating parts of 'warranties'
That's absolute crap. In New Zealand there are consumer rights that would force a manufacturer's claim like this to be adhered to.
A warranty is only as good as the company that sold it. Surprisingly the harbor Freight isn't half bad
NFG …
fucking criminal and false advertising to boot..isnt there a consumer protection agency for that? better business bureau? i dunno
Limited lifetime warranty! If you've opened the packaging, it's void!
