New chainsaw day! A rare treat of rainforest Larch.

Rolled up the family circus tent, go camping in west kootenay she's a beauty day out here. You see they got so much. Wood grows on trees, they just leave it to rot, decided to stay back and look for some larch table neck, the sanciwal! That's what the frenchman call it larch around these parts, finest firewood you ever perspired over burns, hot, not available in my area, supply, chain, breakdowns and so forth. So i'm going to get me some right here about a 10 year old, tabernacle tamarack likes poor soil and wet conditions perfect for the west kootenays near revelstoke on the other side of arrow lakes is rainforest.

Still, this is a deciduous carnivorous tree. It's got needles, but they fall off yearly. It's deciduous. This is an old log and cut block the second or third growth.

Hey the locals likely come hunting here, lots of sign. I assume, if i follow it up, we'll find a pile of corn or a salt lick malt teasers elk flavored. If i'm not mistaken, i'm not much of one for animal husbandry, but i don't judge it's a good thing. I had breakfast looking for uh, either dead, standing, which i would prefer not to cut down or a dead dead and fresh laid down and we'll have a little poke at this one.

With the gas axe see if she's not punky the inside a little longer than i thought normally just get her to lay down on the bed and i inch towards her. But there you can see not much point in going through the deactivation. Ditch getting her filled up and then getting stuck, so i was just going to pack the saw up there see if it's even worth it. I just put a factory reman transmission.

In this thing. It's had a hard life mind. I don't begrudge it anything. It doesn't owe me anything, that's for sure, i'm making payments on it.

Oh, my c manual, i don't like talking to the mexicans, they get expensive. Oh that's, not good, clunking and grinding and shaking at least they circled the problem. She ain't the better three characters for nothing. Allowances must be made.

Ah yeah wood fungus, not a good sign. Am i selling them all through it likely punky? Well, we'll just take a little cut. I packed it all the way up here, yeah. I know when it's everywhere, barber chair, you're, gon na split right, open teeth and lips every words the gooder there right by the goat, trail land that right in the bed of my truck.

But i got just got the one wedge: i'm not that dumb anymore. Coming back with your buddy the next day to retrieve your stuck saw, yeah, i'm good many a time as a younger man, never thought twice about bucking myself off around a dirty old fur. I suppose one's a little punkier than i prefer no idea quite a bit of it um one, two: three: four: five: six: seven, eight, nine ten, eleven twelve a hard years there, 13 14, 15. 16.

17 18. about a million years old. You know the fun part. Trucks are on here somewhere, all right, fine, just one more i'm already late.

That's hurt, come right up. She burns hot cause, she's full of resin used to be as a freshly married man, young, dumb and full of come. I used to have apples just about kill myself, make an apple cider just for the fact that we could stoke the fire. I named it dickens by the way and the wife rather enjoyed the dark dick inside her, but she really enjoyed the dark hot dick insider.
I'm trying to drive out the larch is heavy. Well, if you want to play the game, you got to pay the toll, uh squat a little lower okay and do a little this and then that skinny pedal on the right. That's your friend partner, poor, sweet daisy! Wasn't the national bird of canada what got her cursed skemitos? It was the no seems, brutal.

I was on a rental unit this whole week that would go into limp mode whenever it fancied. Turning it off and back on cleared it til the next time. I found myself saying "hello tractor" quite a few times this week.

In Maine (USA), a local name for larch is hackmatack. Farmers used to use it on horse stall floors as it resisted rotting from horse piss. I burn it in the spring and fall for the quick heat.

I'm reminded of the time when I was but a wee lad, and my paterfamilias decided to cut a huge standing dead maple. The saw was let's say 20", and he estimated the girthiness of the tree to be just under 40". Cut the notch, made the back cut, and suddenly nothing happened. Nibbled at it here and there and the other place, and nothing continued to happen. Buried a couple wedges in the back, nothing. He ended up cutting basically all of what I now know to be the hinge, and the damn thing just stood there laughing at him. He was angry and frustrated so we packed it in for the day. Went back the next day to try… well, something … and found the tree on the ground, and a snapped-off 3" core right up the center that the saw couldn't quite reach. 😳

Wood the way to break a mans back and spirit in the desire to keep warm carried away by mosquitoes deer flys and horse flys trying to extract every ounce of blood out of your body whilst you perspire all the water from your body using the first two cuts to use between the frame and axle to haul more oh the memories

Having plenty firewood here 👍 Cheap energy got banned by our Dutch politicians. So woodstoves are hot here 😑
Most people forget they need to buy wood if they dont own some trees.
Oak does >€100/m³ and still going up fast. Madness.

There's something to be said about the Willfuckye battery-powered chainsaw. I use mine damn near every weekend and it's nothing but reliable. Also, the Willfuckye leaf blower makes campfires extra fun

Hope you feed Mr Husqvarna mid-grade or better fuel.
Splash a little fuel on the chain to loosen up it. Then let the get chain get lubed up with chain oil.

I have a "Gas Axe' just like that but it smokes a pipe. Just opening the muffler up makes for a cheap but noticeable improvement let alone a little port work. Good saw, Good day and good luck to you. Thanks for the vid.

So, what's the effective range on those Bluetooth chaps and gloves? I hadn't seen 'em advertised, and I was wondering how the battery life is on 'em.
