better and better!
Still dead. Look at that tobacco back there though. Gentlemen, Welcome back to the shop. What have you here some? Chinese Yum from the usual scumbags.
3D Printed no less. This is a parking laser. Freaking laser beams. What for pointing your Renaissance probe in the right Ruby Tip: there's a bucket for Pope by him.
Got more vices than a cardinal I recall in the previous video I Got on the crack master car and spent an eye on 200 all hairs for a laser point, air and the associated accoutre. Moss What? Forgetting the Rena Shaw probe. Really nice. Now Fella's saying why don't you just write a program Side by each Vice and you know you just put in Vice a and then it goes to Vice A So the thing is these vices.
they move around. It's fine if you just got the one same part time after time, but these vices are always floating around and you've got different work pieces this way that way and it moves that g54 G55 G56 on through 59 all over the place. So it's better to have a visual aids now. Some of you fart smellers down in the doobly dude sent me along to the beautific.
Belton Suspenders bedecked Brainiac and Gelbert had one of these for uh this is a laser. two lasers and you put this on your spindle and it started spinner thing and uh it shows you a circle and depending a so you always see just the center of the circle. That gets you a close approximation. Now this one's batteries are dead on account of I Had it forever.
it's been sitting on the Bridgeport I Don't like to call her name too loud on account she might wake up, but this thing is kind of a pain in the ass because as I said, the spindle's got to be spinning and if you're working on a Bridgeport and you're positioning and stuff like limited use I Find. but it is very cleverly designed for cheapness of manufacturing. It's just some spring strapping and some nice little laser bits. Not much to it.
Real smart idea, but after we've been kicked in the teeth so many times, we know intrinsically that brilliant inventions are not necessarily Innovations There's a difference. the invention. It could be as smart, but maybe there's cash flow problems or maybe marketing problems or whatever and it doesn't get taken up by industry as an innovation or it's so disruptive that nobody wants to touch it. But in this case I think we're going to be okay.
All this is is a parking guide and it's got a laser. the one-way laser band The One Way and Laser band to other way to crosshairs right on the tippy top of the work piece. We also have this little red dot sight and it's doing something interesting. When the probe tip gets to the proper Zed height for the tool change, it coincides with the center point of that Crosshair That gives me an idea.
We can have it do the opposite so that as the probe comes down once it hits the G54, that little tiny spot right here will know just another visual aid. We'll know that we're at the right height preferentially I probe current or four. but in this case we'll probe Corner one just to see. Oh hello finger I Gotta bring my probe down on the Zed height. Zed's Dead baby. that's dead. Shut up. That works fucking-tastic But wait, there's more Ronco 2000 you'll note I Got all these vices set up for an arts and crafts project on company time.
That is the Town Pump CNC You got some Machining for a prototype you want done? You got no money? Whatever. Bob's your auntie. You know what I'm saying. We got the Crossovers Arrow Here we got to set each one of these vices up I Bet you we can get her close.
Probably good enough for the girls I Go out with with the laser instead of using a 3D What's your? Who's it? We just run that laser to the other end. get you in the ballpark anyway. Foreign ER We're off by Tenth hour off by a mile. Foreign.
An egotistical man I would get you to turn your back, but we're proud. By seven thou look like half a thou over 38 inches without over 38 inches. Oh, it looks like there's a wow in that bar too. The table was perfectly clean when I put the vices down.
just repositioning, just just a little bit. Just a little bit. It's nice to have the cross hatch. There are the crosshairs rather not hatch what you call it on the Machine Tool and not on the tool because if this was on the renishaw then when I was probing, you wouldn't have this.
Kind of nice to have crosshairs for just drilling quick holes or positioning something quick and knocking a dirty you know, sticker in a Bridgeport mode and knocking a dirty hole in a piece of meat, a couple of lasers, and a Jeweler's hammer. We're getting high tech now. Thanks for watching. Keep your dick in a vice.
Frickin’ lasers.
My mitre saw has a “laser” on it what for lining up the cuts. I thought the “laser” was just a gimmick, but I tell you what, it’s actually kinda handy. Just so long as I remember the kerf is on the right side of the “laser”. Plenty good enough for the girls I go out with, which is to say me and my two good hands.
you should spend more time on becoming a better machinist , you are just buying gadgets like a bloody teenage kid
as a dead tree carcass manipulator, this is like witchcraft to me.
Like a modern day Dambuster!
Shop I work at uses a dowel pin in a toolholder to tighten the part down in a known spot. It's like having a backwards edge finder. The part edge is always one radius offset from the center of the pin.
Hey ave, can you review the milwaukee fluid drive hydraulic impact – it’s battery powered and is supposed to be “the best”
Fricken lasers
It’s got freaking laser on it. Lol
Everytime you but these cnc or killing vijayos out, i wish i knew more. But a broke man like more cant afford machines like this. Is fun to pretend i know whats going on though lol
could you attach one end of a multimeter lead in the tool head and another on the piece and check for the beep?
having a laser lined up on a bandsaw blade is nice for cutting on angles. the shadow of the blade gives you a perfect idea where it's at if you marked your cut.
My Aim E vice
" Elivs the Pet Alligator "
I think we can all agree the Haas now needs an uncle bumblefuck esque laser warning sticker. Hah
Pew pew pew pew pew pew pew pew pew!
Hey AvE, Serious inquiry… How much would I (a foundry worker) have to shell out for a couple custom machined wrenches? I need a 9/16" and a 3/4", they would need to be 6 and 9 inches long respectively… Something fancy to throw around my bay when the grinder shits the bed 👌. Let me know bud, im sure i can afford whatever you think is appropriate 🙂
Engineering boy'O's over at Haas: "Lasers!? Write that down! Write that down!"
Put a lazer on it makes it a tactical assault mill
