hardened high carbon steel and manganese steel are somehow different in behaviours. Both can be just as hard and abrasion resistant but the manganese one specifically requires blows. I read some story once about some installation that crushed hard coal and one day they started to crush soft coal, the crusher had hammers made of manganese steel and they would get worn pretty fast on the soft coal, when switching to conventional hardened steel they had a much longer life. The given reason was that the soft coal was abrasive but could not dealt actual blows to the manganese steel when it was being crushed, so the hardening never happened
Thanks for your good work here which this geezer beginner appreciates muchly, plus I admire smart people with a sense of humor who are willing to screw up and admit it. You rock. New subscraper.
I set myself on fire with I was using an oxy lance to shit out the pin of a cat 631e water wagon lift cylinder. My fat and retarded helper with the fire extinguisher did not help even one bit. Good times😂
Craziest metal guy I yet to see on YouTube , I guess a sense of humor helps in metal cutting. I really have no need for a torch but I thinking of getting one lol
I'm not sure who else to ask, if I were to raise the Oxygen % of the Plasma torch air (down stream from the compressor) from air's 21% to 30% or 40% would plasma cut steel better? too much O2 would destroy the plasma torch's consumable's too fast to be practicable,

A very very very useless video
I take notes every time I watch one of these videos.
Shake hands with Danger..
Anything that could result in an explosion SHOULD be taught in a hands on class, I liked you covered that. Some things ya can't learn online.
I bet there's some good shit in the land of 10mm sockets 😂😂😂

Anyone hear about the man that was immediately incinerated at Catapillar?
