Actually this isn't as bad as many devices these days – it uses a common screw drive rather than some proprietary driver only obtainable on the Chinese black market.
Same goes for the self repair auto manuals.
I fucking hate it how tutorials are like "use tweezers to unscrew this" and here i am 10 minutes later finally breaking the part loose with a screwdriver and hammer.

Just change the freaking screw, doesn t need to be a phillips head.
It puts the lotion on the screw before installing DO AS ITS TOLD !
You forgot the mandatory "make sure you don't loose your screw", because you would be screwed if internet didn't tell you that.
