Brother, FFS please just do one friggin video
wow, lol playing with fire trying to make that tiny end mill ramp that whole thing. i would actually try to slot that with the biggest end mill i could fit, or do an adaptive inside of it to make a trochoidal tool path. while the trochoidal may take more time in some situations, i find it a more reliable process being significantly easier on the tools. my general rule for trochoidal slotting is having a slot that is 3/2 * Diameter or a tool that is 2/3 * slot width. i will feed it as deep as i can and adjust my stepover, smaller axial cut, larger stepover, at a depth of 1*D im usually running a 45% step over, at 1.5*D im at 30%, 2*D 20%, 2.5*D 13%, 3*D 9% and so on. whats important is being mindful of your chip load. you have to ensure that it doesnt drop too low.
This is a great series! You've come a long way in CNC
As fun as the adventure choosing is, I'd say put it all in one video, it's a bit distracting needing to swap and check for the behind the scene videos
Ave is the fucking manz
Ave I'm glad you got into this. Where do you get your tools and tool holders.
Jesus Christ AvE, do a little bit too much of the nose sugar? 7 videos in 5 minutes, give or take!
