I have that same set and I've had none of those problems using them on my cars. The benefit of that set is the large font with the tool size on the side. They are the entry level units for B&D-Stanley but still a fair set. My complaint is that they won't sell replacement single sockets.
Bought a very similar Stanley set in high school around 2009. The ratchets had bit the dust by 2011. Still have half the sockets though. Those slick black devils sure are a bastard to find in the dark
My parents gave me a Stanley tool set from BJ’s about four or five years ago and I’ve done a lot of DIY mechanic work since and I’ve never had an issue with any of the sockets. Now the ratchets or hot dog shiiii but I love the sockets they’ve never done me wrong. They fit tight and I still use them till this day
Iv had two of that set first one would be over 7 yrs old now. iv use them hard on my trucks and machines and only way a even damaged one was a 2 mtre pipe over the ratchet made the shaft twist , but gears and mechanisms still going strong. maybe Aussie version is different quality ?
I wish I saw your video before got them… Just bought one today, and the 1/4'' drive is jammed… Piece of garbage, returning them tomorrow. Thanks for the review!
I very nearly bought this kit until I started reading reviews, thinking of getting a DeWalt kit now.
Same happend to mine today, unscrewed and put metal fork back into the spring.
My Stanley blue mechanic set just broke after 13 years of service
Oh the irony-Stanley lifetime-of a house fly, that is..
Thank you

I enjoyed the critical voiceover of a chicken?

Fram Ultra's are actually excellent filters. Now the orange cans…. yes they are a "Fram" by the most common sense meaning.
