White vinegar on a toothbrush. Gets rid of all the battery schmoo. Then a quick rinse with water on the toothbrush to neutralize the vinegar. Works every time.
Fluke sells case shells for alot of their instruments. I got a replacement case for my 123 Scopemeter that wasnt too bad. From a supplier in Canada no less.
i dont understand why flukes are so expensive…50 dollars worth of solid state, other electronic gobbldigook and 5 bucks worth of plastic…whata they got 400$ an hour CPAs soldering em? granted im a ignoramus of epic proportions…so what is the scoop?
I need to solder 0201 caps and resistors at work all the time with no scope or lens…. just a very fine tipped iron and good eyes! Still a very difficult job though…. the one you did was probably an 0402 or an 0603, still small, but no 0201… those 0201 literally are smaller than grains of salt….friggin nightmares until you do them enough to be able to get em right haha…..good video as always!
I think all you are missing in the selector switch there is the ball bearing, it has just one ball in there that holds tension on the switch.
Solder sucker is the tip of the day !!

louis rossman lmao he is still going strong lol
AVE use a toothpick to hold part you are soldering down. That way the solder cant stick to it. <3
Hello, I have a fluke 355 which it needs some repairs. Do you have a service manual for that model?
