Thank you for your animal husbandry advice! Nugget the baby chick was suffering without improvement, so we made the hardest call.
Two fellas developing nicely blood feathers. Already this guy, i think we're into palliative care. I think she's suffering we uh. So would thank her for her time that she was here and showed us how miraculous life is that we come from dirt and sunlight and we're here for, but a brief moment, we're gon na send her on her way.
Thank you sweetie. So what we're going to do just very gently, i'm going to take some coals and put them in a sealed enclosure, i'll make carbon monoxide and then our little friend will peacefully go off into the great unknown. Sometimes uh. The kindest thing is not the nicest thing, but there you have it.
If you ever yeah quick, painless.
The charcoal makes carbon monoxide? I never knew. Now we know why the naughty kids get coal for xmas though.
Release thy soul from suffering. Off to Valhalla in glory for you fought the good fight, and fought it well.
Requiescat in Pace
Poor ittle thing. Really breaks my heart but it's part of life. Thank you so much for giving her a chance.
On the bright side, at least she didnโt end up in an omelet about 30 days ago. We all gotta go some time.
Don't know if I commented on your last one or not, but you made the right choice.
I made the wrong choice once and kept one alive longer nursing it. I only extended its suffering in the end. Bouts of hand tending alternating with bouts of no time to do it. Never doing that again.
Life sure ain't easy, but in the end, I recon it's worth it. Glad you tried, and glad for your channel!
Back to wence we've all come….. That mystical place our energy occupied before we were born….. Your watch has ended, lil buddy. I salute you.
Poor little feller he's just a boy
When you went to the wood stove I thought oh no don't do that, but thats a respectable way to handle that situation.
Well in human hands his life was far better than without. When you're dealt a Brunson, most the time you need to fold. Pat pat old buddy, hope the kids are getting the right message from it all, that's what we parents worry about right?
Don't use saw dust/chavings with chicks, some of them eat it, and can die from it…
Speaking out of personal experience ๐
Christ at first I thought you were gonna throw her in the furnace. Didn't think of the carbon monoxide.
We had a 75lb CO2 tank in the garage that we could use when it came time to humanely dispatch a small critter that's suffering. Works the same way.
Rest in peace that's hilarious rest in pieces or parts at least at least that's the nomenclature I understood when I was in the machine shop it's all built out of parts including you haha anyway thanks AVE SILLY RABBITS TRICKS ARE FOR KIDS
