Heat the bit till red in a metal box. Which a of box is open as well as the top. Heat with propane weed burner till nice and red. Pull the bit from the box. Place on the ground and hit it with air hamm. Sharp chisel tip. Tungsten will cool faster than the iron. Hammer will rotate buttons out all on the ground. Did this for a couple years when I was a young man during the 70s. I you have any questions, just ask. Did 500 pound bits all day long. They were earth bits drilling for geothermal in cloverdale California.
Wait just a damn minute you're going to leave out the eagle globe and anchor? Some of us salty devil dogs may get offended at that! Lol I love a good bullshit video I really do God help me!!!
Use in your slingshot or load them in a 12 guage round off course. Lol I have many hours sharpening the buttons on water well drilling down the hole hammer bits. Guess it was cheaper even with the price of the diamond sharpening stones than to send them out.

Right now tungsten /carbide metal goes for an astonishing 8$/pound at the scrapyards … pricier than copper ….
The chinese do it right heat the whole thing red hot and use jack hammer to vibrate out
Me thinks liquid nitrogen and that torch might work as rapid temp. cycles might crack the metal matrix.

Shotgun Slug..
I wonder the difference in carbide quality between those buttons and the teeth on the home-gamer circular saw blade. I'm assuming significant.
